The engine was shipped by Towzer Kemsley & Millbourne on behalf of an unknown rider to ride in the Ceylon and Asian Circuit racing.
The Bike became known as the Brown (Cook Brown) which was a part of the Hatton Bank in Calcutta.
Their were only 4 Works Manx Nortons raced in the 1950's in Ceylon, and this was one of them.
